Nintendo Collector who Bought Damaged 1950's Cards Purchases Two Pristine Decks
It was always in the cards!
We previously reported on an unfortunate incident where collector Erik Voskuil’s newly purchased 1950’s Nintendo cards were fused together beyond repair.
Well, thanks to the Voskuil’s story going public, the collector was approached by two independent individuals who offered to sell him their packs in pristine condition.
Within months after posting the story online, I was offered two decks, by two different people, both from the United States…They approached me separately after reading about these cards on this blog.
Both deckss were purchased and now in Voskuil’s possession. He has posted high quality images of the cards to his blog where he goes into more detail on the purchase of the cards and the historical significance they hold for Nintendo, check out the link below if you’re in for a history lesson!
