Gravity Game Arise Co., Ltd. (located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a strategic group company of NASDAQ-listed GRAVITY in Japan, announces that it has signed a global publishing agreement with indie game developer Aquatic Moon (California, USA) for the game adaptation of “Twilight Monk” (Twilight Monk).

With this agreement, Gravity Game Arise (“GGA”) and Aquatic Moon (“AM”) will develop a Metroidvania game utilizing AM’s popular “Twilight Monk” IP with its overwhelming worldview, unique art style, and fascinating characters, and profound storyline. The game is scheduled to release globally on multiple platforms. In addition, GRAVITY will develop a strategic cooperative relationship to lead the “Twilight Monk” game to success by maximizing the marketing, public relations, and management functions established through GRAVITY’s global IP holdings.

Twilight Monk is a series of kung fu, fantasy, adventure novels, and art books beginning with “Secrets of Kung Fulio”. The epic storyline, overwhelming worldview, and unique characters are the main attractions of the series.

The game is a 2D action-adventure game featuring hand-drawn stylized art, meticulously designed Metroidvania dungeons, and an open world. Players take on the role of Raziel Tenza, the last descendant of the “Ancient Monks of Twilight” a race of demon hunters as they seek to hold off armies of “Darksprites”, supernatural demons that plague the land of Speria.
