Niantic has spilled the beans on Pokémon GO’s upcoming Sustainability Week. The event runs from April 20th to 25th, 2022, and we now have the full details on what it includes. Check out the complete breakdown of info below.


Pokémon debuts

  • Oranguru
  • Shiny Cherubi

Complete Timed Research during Community Day and we’ll plant trees! (Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time)

During this period, there will be Timed Research available. Each phase will require you to adventure 1 km, and doing so will earn you an encounter with Cherubi.

During the entire day of April 23, 2022, every Trainer who adventures 5 km during Community Day, Niantic will plant a tree (up to 100,000 trees). So get exploring!

Collection Challenge

A nature-inspired Collection Challenge is coming! Complete it to contribute to your Elite Collector medal and earn a Mossy Lure Module and 15 Great Balls. Two of the Pokémon you’ll need to catch—Gloom and Weepinbell—will only appear when you use a Mossy Lure Module.
