Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 seemingly confirmed via new Hot Wheels toy
Things are heating up
In a situation that’s both odd and absolutely perfect, it looks like a videogame sequel has been confirmed through a tie-in toy. (H/T VGC)
Pictures of a new Hot Wheels toy have popped up, and it’s the logo on the back of the toy that leads to the confirmation. The toy is an official Hot Wheels car, and the trunk showcases a ‘Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged’ logo. That’s pretty undeniable evidence that a sequel is on the way! Furthermore, the toy itself will be a GameStop exclusive.
A few more details have been leaked about the sequel, including that there will be three editions (Standard, Deluxe and Legendary). Depending on which version you buy, you’ll have access to more or less content found in the game’s Season Pass.
