When you saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie, you no doubt caught a bunch of Easter eggs. Some of them fly by in an instant, and others are given a bit more screen time. The one thing for sure is that there’s simply too many to catch in one viewing.
Now that The Super Mario Bros. Movie is available to rent digitally, people have time to dig through the film literally frame by frame to see what Nintendo and Illumination has hid. Not surprisingly, this has led to the discovery of literally hundreds of references.
