Nintendo of Europe has announced that controversial Russian CEO, Yasha Haddaji, had his last day as an official Nintendo employee. His tenure as CEO for Nintendo in that region has come to a close as of June 1st, 2023.

For years now, Nintendo fans in/around Russia have called for Haddaji to be fired, as numerous accusations of employee mistreatment and harassment surfaced. This isn’t the reason Haddaji is no longer employed by Nintendo, as Nintendo is simply removing themselves from operation in Russia.

Unfortunately, Nintendo will still be tied to Haddaji, as they’re connected with his side business, Achivka. This company will be providing customer service support for repairs and warranty service of Nintendo hardware.
