Nintendo has held quite a few Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed collaborations with museums and aquariums in Japan, and yet another opportunity has been revealed for the near future.

Running from June 15th to Sept. 18th, 2023, Nintendo has teamed up with the Umigatari Joetsu Aquarium for an Animal Crossing: New Horizons “Creatures of the Sea” Connection Exhibit. This exhibit will feature over 30 species of fish and marine life that you can also find in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Those who attend the exhibit can check out commentary panels for each fish tank that were written by none other than Blathers, and they’ll contain details on the marine life alongside trivia. There will even be a special section of the exhibition focusing on the giant oarfish, which isn’t normally on display at the aquarium.

Animal Crossing fans can take part in a Stamp Rally while at the aquarium, with the stamp rally book priced at $1.44. The book also includes details on the exhibit itself, and a rundown of the various fish that are on display. Make sure to use the GPS check-in with the My Nintendo smartphone app while walking through the aquarium to fill your stamp rally book, as you’ll also get an Animal Crossing amiibo card at the aquarium’s entrance for doing so.

Finally, the aquarium will also have a variety of exclusive Animal Crossing-themed merch available as well. Fans can look forward to snagging an acrylic clear filer, cookies, and a tote bag.
