Tokyo Xanadu eX+ 'Soul Devices' detailed

Falcom previously announced that they’re bringing Tokyo Xanadu eX+ to the Switch in Japan on June 29th, 2023. The title will be priced at 4,800 yen and will be sold both digitally and physically. Today, we get some details on the game’s Soul Device mechanic.
Soul Devices are special weapons that “chosen” people with ties to the Other World can summon at will. The shape of each Soul Device is eminently unique. A Soul Device is made of materials from the Other World and spirit particles. They’re quite effective against the Greed, which are otherwise immune to physical attacks.
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is an enhanced port of the PS Vita title, Tokyo Xanadu. Before that, Tokyo Xanadu released on the PlayStation 4 on September 8th, 2016 in Japan. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ includes optimized controls and the “High-Speed Mode” from the Trails and Ys series of games. Finally, all previously released DLC will be included.
