Well I'll be damned
Grasshopper revealed Shadows of the Damned Remaster the other day, but they didn’t share information on platforms. Today, they’ve shared another quick look at the game, and it gave some hope for a Switch release.
The quick trailer released as part of the Grasshopper Direct ended with a line that literally said “Coming to All Current Platforms. Probably.” Couple that with the fact that Suda51 made a comment the other day about playing the game portably, and it certainly seems like a Switch version is being worked on.
Whenever Grasshopper shares a full confirmation of a Switch release, we’ll make sure to bring it to you.
Creative geniuses Suda 51 (No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil) present Shadows of the Damned, a twisted vision of hell unlike anything seen before.
Originally released in June 2011, Shadows of the Damned invited gamers to assume the role of Garcia, a hard-as-nails, leather-clad, motorcycle-riding professional demon hunter who finds his true love kidnapped by vengeance-seeking demons. As he explores the furthest reaches of the netherworld, Garcia battles through Hell and back, with danger and turmoil around every corner.
Gamers will find themselves challenged by demented puzzles and thrust into gruesome battles with vile and deformed creatures that can only come from the darkest recesses of Hell. More details will be revealed about the remaster at Grasshopper Direct next week!
