Steven Ince has been writing Broken Sword games for nearly 30 years now, but his time as the franchise’s steward has officially come to an end. Ince took to social media to reveal that as of February 2024, he will be stepping away from the Broken Sword series and games in general.
In a short video, Ince mentions that he’s coming up on retirement age, and he thought that would make for the perfect time to move out of the games industry. That said, Ince plans to continue writing books in the following years, so you’ll still be able to enjoy his work through a different medium.
