More information soon?

Sonic Origins is a collection announced in 2021; this collection will include Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. However, after the announcement, we have not had much news on this or when to expect it in 2022, but it seems the wait will soon end, as the collection has been rated in South Korea, and with the movie just releasing, continuing the momentum with Sonic news would make sense.

UPDATE: Sonic Origins has also been rated in Australia. As usual, Aussie classifications don’t provide specific platform information. At the very least, this rating, along with the South Korean rating, shows that we should be getting information on this title very soon.

This took WAY longer than I expected it would. Can't wait to finally play Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.
SEGA seems rather reluctant rereleasing those two.

I think most assume the reluctance comes from licensing disputes over some of the music, and it's a difficult situation that leaves them with few and generally not very appealing, options. I am very curious to see what, if any, changes will be made to them.

This and Sonic Frontiers coming later this year I assume? Going to be a great Sonic holiday season!
