Sure to be a block-buster
The Minecraft movie has been in development Hell for an extremely long time, but it appears Warner Bros. is finally getting their act together.
It’s been confirmed that Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, is going to be a part of the Minecraft film adaptation. This movie will be a live-action adaptation, but it’s not clear if Mamoa will appear on-screen or will be lending his voice to a character.
In further news, Napoleon Dynamite filmmaker Jared Hess will direct the project, while Dune producer Mary Parent and Roy Lee will produce. Executive producers include Jon Berg, Cale Boyter and Jon Spaihts. Finally, Jill Messick will receive a posthumous producing credit for developing the film before her death in 2018.
