Reputable news outlet Bloomberg has reported that SEGA is currently developing “big-budget reboots” of the much beloved but long forgotten Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi series.

These will be the first releases as part of SEGA’s “super game” initiative, a multi-step plan to develop large-scale next-gen games using Microsoft Azure - in an attempt to find their own global IP hit, much like Epic Games did with Fortnite.

Both projects are in early development, with Crazy Taxi just over a year along. A launch isn’t expected for another 2-3 years, and there is still the possibility of cancellation.

Holy moly, yes! I'd love some more Jet Set Radio.
