Nintendo isn’t one to share the resolution and framerate information on their games. They instead worry about creating experiences that are fun and will woo in customers. Still, that doesn’t mean some of those customers aren’t curious to know more about the tech side of things.

While Nintendo has remained quiet on tech specifics for Pikmin 4, they did recently share a demo worldwide. Not surprisingly, plenty of people have taken to the demo to analyze the experience and see just how technically impressive it is.

When it comes to framerate, the target is 30 fps, and the demo doesn’t include any significant drops. With resolution, we have a dynamic situation that ranges from 820p down to 720p when docked. The top-end resolution is likely targeting 900p, but that’s not confirmed. Handheld resolution is somewhere around 540p.
