Cosmo Machia has announced plans to release a Switch version of Triggerheart Exelica, but not without some financial support.
A crowdfunding campaign via Makuake for the vertical-scrolling shoot ‘em up game will begin on July 7th, 2023 at 9:00 PM EST. More information, including exactly how much funding the developers are seeking, will be revealed at the time of the campaign’s launch.
Triggerheart Exelica started out as a 2006 arcade game, but has since been ported to various consoles including the Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and Xbox 360. Following Cosmo Machia’s recent acquisition of the IP, a Switch version would be the first time the game was ported to a modern platform since 2008.
