Ubisoft dev Emile Morel passes away
Rest in peace, Emile
We’re very sad to report that Emile Morel, a Ubisoft game designer and creative director, has passed away suddenly at the age of 40.
Word of Morel’s passing was discovered on LinkedIn, where Ubisoft colleague M. Gabrielle Shrager shared the news.

In his time at Ubisoft, Morel worked on a number of titles, including Rayman Legends. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by Morel’s passing, and we’ll all keep his memory alive through the wonderful games he helped bring to the world.
