Bootleg Mario game makes its way onto the Xbox Store

Nintendo is always out to protect their IP from anything they deem harmful. That certainly includes bootleg games, yet somehow, that’s exactly what popped up over on the Xbox Store.

Supertan Marioner 3D Infinity World Adventures was, for a short time, available to download on the Xbox Store. The game, an endless runner, featured Mario running and jumping his way through a jungle environment. As you might guess, the game is an absolute disaster, and it obviously had nothing to do with Nintendo at all.

We’re not sure Nintendo requested the removal or Microsoft caught on, but either way, the game has now been yanked from the Xbox Store. Looks like Xbox owners will have to head over to one of Nintendo’s consoles for their Mario action from here on out.
