Square Enix has taken to Twitter to share a neat tidbit about a Final Fantasy X Easter egg in Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion.
The team behind Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion has been sharing various tidbits and anecdotes ever since the title released on Switch, and the latest reveal pertains to the Gun Bull Head robot enemies in Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion.
The Gun Bull Head enemies were part of the original Crisis Core: FFVII, and they were actually named after Final Fantasy X Blitzball players. You’ll be able to spot these enemies during the sniper minigame in Chapter 9, which takes place on the Nibel Plains.
In the mission, Zack has to defeat a number of Gun Bull Head robots before they contact Shinra troops. Guess their time spent playing Blitzball wasn’t paying too well!
