The PowerWash Simulator team really wants a Star Wars collab
How about a Tie Fighter while you're at it?
PowerWash Simulator has been incredibly popular so far, and with that popularity has come the potential for collaborations. We’ve already seen PowerWash Simulator add content from Final Fantasy VII, SpongeBob SquarePants and Tomb Raider, but these are just the beginning for the dev team.
In an interview with Eurogamer, FuturLab boss James Marsden has said that the team behind the game have had one collaboration in mind since day one; Star Wars.
“The goal was the Millennium Falcon. So, working backwards from that, what do we need to do?”
Elliot Greenwood, FuturLabs’ licensing and business development manager, says the Star Wars idea was brought up even before he landed his current gig.
“Literally, in my interview for this role, James said, ‘we want the Millennium Falcon, can you get it?’ I was like, ‘I’ll try my best’.”
Unfortunately, no such deal for the Millennium Falcon or any Star Wars content has been struck, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future. As they say, no news is good news. Hopefully the two teams can strike a deal and we’ll soon be polishing the iconic starship.
