Japanese software/hardware sales for July 10th to July 16th, 2023 (Top 30 added)

Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles made up 8 of the top 10 best-selling software list. After retaking the crown last week, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom holds strong in first place. Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg saw debut, with the Switch version placing in second, selling over 16k copies. Marvelous’ Touhou: New World also debuted this week, landing in a respectable sixth. As for the rest of the charts, it’s quite standard, with top-selling titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, Nintendo Switch Sports, and Splatoon 3 making their usual appearance. Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE just barely holds on to the top 10, placing on the very bottom of the list.

As for hardware, the Nintendo Switch OLED remains in first place, with the PlayStation 5 placing in second. The standard Switch placed in third, and the Switch Lite took fourth, with the PS5 Digital in fifth.
