Super Zangyura getting physical Switch release

Red Art Games has revealed that they’re giving Super Zangyura a physical release on Switch, and pre-orders will go live on July 27th, 2023. There will be just 300 copies to go around for the standard release, but there will also be an unknown amount of Deluxe Edition versions as well.

The Deluxe Edition has been created with players who love to get a little something extra with their games in mind. Every Deluxe Edition title features a wraparound box sleeve as well as at least one physical bonus (poster, keychain, acrylic stand, etc.). While Standard Edition games are available everywhere, Deluxe Edition games are only available from Red Art Games’ official online shop.

Originally released in 2004, Zangyura’s unique blend of puzzles and action has returned as a modernized remaster, Super Zangyura. The music and visuals have been overhauled, but the simple yet satisfying old-school action has been kept intact!

Somewhere in the mountains of eastern Europe, a vampire called the Immortal Lord slept. He resurrected every century, and unearthly creatures roamed the ruins of his castle when the fated hour neared as if to welcome him, or so the rumors went. The fearful baron of the land saw that dark omen and called a family of demon hunters to slay the Immortal Lord again. However, the one who appeared in response was a girl, clad in a maid’s dress and armed with a morning star.
