There are plenty of anime-licensed titles available across today’s gaming platforms. From Dragon Ball to My Hero Academia, anime licenses are bigger than ever in the gaming world. That definitely applies to the NARUTO brand, and one title in particular has just hit an incredible milestone.

As of 2013, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 ROAD TO BORUTO has hit a staggering 12 million units sold worldwide. That figure is the combined total across multiple platforms, Switch very much included. There are plenty of games that are million sellers, but the list gets considerable smaller when you move into double-digit millions territory.

To put things into even better perspective, just two other fighting games have sold more than NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 ROAD TO BORUTO last generation; Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mortal Kombat 11. This fact shows the incredible reach of the NARUTO brand, and it no doubt proves that there will be plenty of NARUTO games released down the road.
