Pokémon Sword & Shield 'Global Challenge 2022: Spring' announced
Spring an attack on your opponent!
Pokémon Company has announced the next big event for Pokémon Sword and Shield. The Global Challenge 2022 Spring has been revealed, and battles kick off May 6th, 2022.
This competition is a Double Battle competition with standard VGC rules. All players who enter and participate in at least 3 battles will receive 50 BP. This competition will also be used to determine the entrants for the Japan Championships in Japan, and players can earn Championship Points if enrolled in the Play! Pokémon circuit.
Registration is open now and runs until May 5th, 2022, while battles take place May 6th to May 8th, 2022.
