Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster seeing physical Switch release in Asia and Europe

If you’re a Switch fan who likes to grab physical versions of games, you know sometimes that can be a challenge. There’s certainly a decent amount of games that get physical launches, but it’s definitely not guaranteed. The situation can even vary between different parts of the world, and that appears to be the case for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster.

Here in North America, it seems that there won’t be a physical release for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. No retailers show a listing for a physical option, and with the game inching ever closer to its Sept. 14th, 2023 launch, it seems less and less likely that one will pop up in this corner of the world. The good news is that you still have some other options.

While North America appears to be out of luck, a physical version of Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster will indeed see release in both Europe and Asia. When it comes to Europe, it seems GAME has the retailer-exclusive on the physical option, so you’ll have to go through them. Over in Japan specifically and Asia as a whole, most game retailers will be stocking the title.

While it’s a shame no North American physical release is in the works, at least we can import from other regions. If you’re looking to get in on that import, you can snag one through Play-Asia.
