There are plenty of gamers out there right now who are worried about gaming history being lost to time. Old cartridges, digital games that can disappear at any given moment, and lapsed publisher deals can all lead to games completely vanishing from the general public. That’s why a small, but dedicated group of gamers have set out to archive game history for future generations.

Mr. Talida is very much a game history preservationist, but their archives go far beyond just software. Mr. Talida loves to archive all sorts of interesting tidbits from gaming history, including various collaborative merch efforts over the years. That has led him to creating yet another unique gaming archive, and this one’s for a snack partnership.

As you no doubt know, Nintendo and Nabisco recently teamed to create the Super Mario OREO line. The line includes 16 different designs, and while they’re still available in stores right now, there will come a time when they’ve all but disappeared. Rather than letting these cookies disappear from all but our memories, Mr. Talida has scanned the complete lineup.

If you want to check out the 3D-scanned archived of sandwich cookies, you can find them here. The entire lineup is as follows:

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Yoshi
  • Toad
  • Bowser
  • Bowser Jr.
  • Goomba
  • Koopa Troopa
  • Blooper
  • Spiny
  • Boo
  • Piranha Plant
  • Coin
  • Super Mushroom
  • Fire Flower
  • Starman/Super Star
  • Standard Oreo backing
Thanks to Moblin the Bold for the heads up!
