Developer cancels 3DS project, citing impending eShop closure
From dream to nightmare
OtyugraGames had been planning to bring their roguelike horror game Dream-Prison Wanderer to the New 3DS, but as revealed by a series of tweets, the project will no longer hit Nintendo’s legacy platform.
The team at Otyugra said they have no choice but to cancel plans for the New 3DS version of Dream-Prison Warrior, citing Nintendo’s own announcement of 3DS eShop closure plans. It seems there was also interest in bringing the game to the New 3DS in physical form, but that decision has also been called off.
Dream-Prison Warrior’s development will still continue, with PC as the intended release platform.
