Niantic wants to offer a huge thank you to everyone who attended Pokémon GO Fest 2023 in New York City! The awesome community came together in New York to show the world just how passionate they are—and no one can doubt they brought the fire!
Pokémon GO Fest in New York City marked Pokémon GO’s biggest U.S. event in its 7-year history, with 74,000 attendees from around the world exploring NYC and playing the game they love.
Roughly 80% of attendees traveled from out of town to join the action, making it clear that Pokémon GO’s community is as lively as it was in 2016 at launch. In fact, tens of millions of people play Pokémon GO each month.
