Supergiant Games and iam8bit have been pals for years, bonding over our mutual love of vinyl, often helping one another out behind-the-scenes. We were both early advocates for the medium of vinyl, well before it was common for a game soundtrack to be minted on wax.
So needless to say, we are proud to present represses of two of our favorite game soundtracks ever, as part of this ongoing and highly collaborative partnership.
Both instant classics in their own right, Bastion and Hades each showcase Supergiant’s unique artistry, phenomenal gameplay, sharp writing, and of course, instantly iconic music from composer Darren Korb and vocalist Ashley Barrett.
The Hades 4xLP features 30 fantastic tracks across four two-sided 150g smoke-gray discs, each with their own beautifully illustrated jacket designed by Jesse Tan and featuring the artwork of Jen Zee. Inside the high-quality hard cardboard case, you’ll also find an 11”x11” credits insert. The whole package is lovingly wrapped with an exclusive obi strip. The Bastion double LP is minted on both an exclusive (and new) Cael Yellow vinyl and 180g Black Vinyl. It comes housed in a classic, double gatefold jacket featuring album art by Marie Bergeron. Put this album on, sit back, and let your mind wander back to the Bastion once again.
