There are plenty of people who’ll make trips to Universal Studios Japan just to check out Super Nintendo World. Until Super Nintendo World opens in California or Florida, Japan is the one spot to check out what Nintendo theme park is like. Those people are no doubt Switch fans, and businesses surrounding the park are looking to make some bank off of Nintendo’s faithful.

A series of hotels near Super Nintendo World Japan have started a new service that lets guests rent a Switch dock. Through a partnership with Nintendo, guests can rent a Switch dock, HDMI cable, and Switch AC adapter. The service kicks off tomorrow for an unknown price, and includes the following hotels.

  • Oriental Hotel Universal City
  • The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan
  • Hotel Keihan Universal Tower
  • Hotel Universal Port

Three more hotels will add this service in the near future.

  • Hotel Kintetsu Universal City
  • Hotel Universal Port Vita
  • Liber Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

Great idea. Who wants to travel with their Switch dock anyway.

If they work like they do in the US, they'd be bolted down and hooked up to the TV/power outlet through a funnel.
