Just a couple of weeks back, Nintendo opened the floodgates on what’s next for Splatoon 3. Kids and squids everywhere can look forward to ‘Drizzle Season 2023’ kicking off September 1st, 2023, but today brings us a few more tidbits on just what this update has to offer.

Starting with the Drizzle Season 2023, you’ll receive notifications when a friend uploads a Battle Replay, and you can then watch that Replay simply by selecting the notification. Speaking of notifications, one will be sent to your friends and the players in the same Pools as you should you get a rare item at the Shell-Out Machine. If you get one of these notifications, you can send a “Fresh!” to that player.

Lastly, Drizzle Season 2023 will let you use Recon mode to check out a stage directly from the Stages menu. This will allow you to get a quick look at the stage rotation in regular battles and Anarchy Battles. You can even take a peek at stages coming later in the rotation as well.

Drizzle Season is bringing a whole new catalog of content to Splatoon 3 Starting on Sept. 1st. All Splatoon 3 players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership will have access to the new “Drizzle Season 2023” content, which includes weapons, stages, challenges, and more!
