Mortal Shell hits 1 million units sold, special 90% off sale announced

Developer Cold Symmetry has announced a major milestone for Mortal Shell. The game originally launched back in August of 2020 and then came to Switch December 2022, and in all of that time Mortal Shell has sold a combined 1 million units worldwide. That’s pretty fantastic for a brand-new IP, and the developer couldn’t be happier about the achievement.

In honor of Mortal Shell reaching 1 million sold, the dev team is celebrating by dropping the game’s price by a staggering 90% for the month of September. That means instead of paying the usual $30 price tag, you can pick up Mortal Shell for just $3 until Oct. 2023. Remember, Switch owners have access to Mortal Shell: Complete Edition, which includes the game-altering Virtuous Cycle expansion, the playable character Hadern, and the Rotten Autumn content update.
