Planeswalker Garruk Stampedes into SMITE

Today, Garruk the Wildspeaker has become the newest Legendary Planeswalker from Hasbro’s Magic: The Gathering to join the plane of the video game SMITE, the online Battleground of the Gods.
With plenty of SMITE players being long time fans of the classic CCG and in the wake of the acclaimed Magic: The Gathering x SMITE Crossover last January, you can now become Garruk as the latest SMITE skin for Chaac, Maya God of Rain.
Just like the Legendary Creatures and Planeswalkers who preceded him in the game, Garruk’s 3D model has been carefully handcrafted into the most accurate depiction possible. The green Mana powerhouse is armed with his giant axe and complete with his own ability FX and voice lines. Garruk is now fighting the Gods themselves in SMITE!
Garruk can be either purchased directly or unlocked in the new Magic: The Gathering chest also out today. The chest hosts a plethora of iconic Legendary Creatures and Planeswalkers:

- Nicol Bolas
- Chandra Nalaar
- Liliana Vess
- Teferi
- The Wandering Emperor
- Karn
- Atraxa
- Nissa Revane
The Magic: The Gathering chest also includes bundles of various cosmetic items related to each character. After unlocking the Garruk skin players can hop into a match, pick Chaac as their playable God and simply equip the Garruk skin.
