In celebration of the Save And Sound video game music event, Vampire Survivors developer poncle has, for the first time, released a 10-minute clip showing a recording of their lushious orchestral soundtrack!

The Vampire Survivors soundtrack was penned by Daniele Zandara, with additional contributions from Filippo Vicarelli and William Davis. Originally recorded using simple digital software, the game’s extraordinary popularity allowed poncle to re-record it with a full-blown orchestra. The soundtrack was recorded over multiple sessions by the Budapest Art Orchestra, with the biggest session comprising of 56 musicians.

“Vampire Survivors owes a lot to the soundtrack,’ said poncle founder and rumoured vampire Luca Galante. “I had the songs on repeat during the early stages of development, and I couldn’t have made the game without the contributions of our composers Danielle, Fillipo and Will. Well, I probably could have made it without them, but it would have been much worse. Anyway, it’s surreal seeing the songs being recorded by a whole proper orchestra, and we can’t thank our players enough for making this possible!”

Mow down thousands of night creatures and survive until dawn! Vampire Survivors is a gothic horror casual game with rogue-lite elements, where your choices can allow you to quickly snowball against the hundreds of monsters thrown at you.
