Japanese software/hardware sales for September 4th to September 10th, 2023

Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles made up 8 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Pikmin 4 holds strong in first place, selling an additional 31k copies in the region. The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her from publisher MAGES saw debut this week, placing in second on the charts. Virche Evermore: -EpiC:lycoris- from publisher Idea Factory also saw debut, placing in fourth. As for the rest of the charts, it’s quite standard, with top-selling titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Ring Fit Adventure, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, Minecraft, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom making their usual appearance.

As for hardware, the Switch OLED remains in first place, with the PlayStation 5 placing in second. The Switch Lite placed in third, and the standard Switch took fourth, with the PS5 Digital in fifth.
