Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the Switch’s best-selling game by a sizable amount, having moved over 55 million units since launching. That’s incredibly impressive, but what’s even more stunning is the fact that the game keeps selling. That’s why Nintendo keeps building so many Switch bundles with the game included!

Over in Japan, Nintendo has found a new way to entice Switch owners into purchasing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. On Oct. 6th, 2023, Nintendo will be releasing a physical version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that includes a considerable amount of DLC as well. The package is priced at $60 and includes the base game plus Booster Course Pass Waves 1-5 as well. Talk about a fantastic deal for new Switch owners!

As you probably know, Booster Course Pass Wave 6 is the final wave in Nintendo’s DLC plans for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and those who purchase this physical version can buy the final DLC wave separately. It also seems incredibly likely that Nintendo will eventually put out a physical release that includes the base game and all DLC as well, but that’s just our own speculation for now.
