Melty Blood: Type Lumina running special sale for its 2-year anniversary

Project LUMINA (NotesCo., Ltd., Aniplex Inc., Lasengle Inc.) will celebrate the second anniversary of the 2D fighting game “MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA” on Switch with a special sale. The sale kicks off on the Switch eShop today and runs until Oct. 4th, 2023.

Those looking to pick up just the base game can do so at a 50% discount, dropping the price from $50 to $25. If you’d rather go all-out, you can get the MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA Deluxe Edition at 50% off as well. This knocks the price from $70 to $35.

MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA is the latest addition to the series of 2D fighting games based on TYPE-MOON’s visual romance novel, Tsukihime. The curtain rises once more on dramatic battles played out with familiar characters from Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-.

Use characteristic Melty Blood mechanics such as Aerial Combos, Shields, Magic Circuits, Arc Drives, and Last Arcs, as well as a few new powerful techniques under the Moon Skill system. On top of that, an all-new simple control system has been implemented to make the intense battles a little more manageable, while also maintaining a balance which will allow both seasoned veterans and new players alike to fully enjoy the world of Melty Blood.
