Konami hosted a presentation for Momotaro Dentetsu: The Earth Spins With Hope during their TGS 2023 stage show, and they revealed new details on the game’s History Mode, along with the My World feature. You can get the breakdown of those details below. (h/t Gematsu)
History Mode
Three major events will appear in Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru!! “History Mode” is a new mode centered around these three events.
- Overcome an Epidemic – Buy up medical care companies in order to develop and produce a vaccine.
- Deliver Relief Supplies – Pass through barricades to deliver relief supplies to their destination.
- Become an IT Millionaire – Figure out when the rate of return for IT properties will shoot up before buying them up!
My World
“My World” is a mode in which you can freely explore the map, looking back on previously visited stations and triggered events. Check out the festival spirits and historical heroes you have previously encountered on the map. You can also look through travel stations and destinations on a list.
Super Momotaro Dentetsu Now Available via Nintendo eShop
The 1992-released Super Momotaro Dentetsu is now available for Switch via Nintendo eShop in Japan for 350 yen until October 1, after which it will cost 500 yen. This was previously only available on Switch as an early purchase bonus for the 2020-released Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!.
