Rear Sekai demo hits Switch in Japan on Sept. 25th, 2023

Bushiroad Games has revealed that Rear Sekai will be getting a Switch eShop demo in Japan on Sept. 25th, 2023. As of right now, we don’t know if the demo will release outside of Japan or if it will include English.

Rear Sekai will be coming to Switch on October 12, 2023 and it’s the first original game published by Bushiroad, and is being developed by HAKAMA. The game is a JRPG featuring real-time combat with a unique setting and characters. We’ve also learned that DLC is in the works, and it will add a new character voiced by Risa Tsumugi.

In Rear Sekai the main character visits Ellentaros, the last town in Melvania, interacts with the unique residents, and sets out on an adventure to find what he can do for everyone. However, when you wake up surrounded by light during your adventure, you find yourself in a completely different world. Maybe this is my real world? Unravel the secrets of the two worlds!

During the adventure, the protagonist wakes up in another world. It was like a school. A classmate who somehow overlaps with the people he met in Melvania. He had a strange feeling that it was not the first time he had spoken. What is this familiar world?
