A new update is available for Super Dungeon Maker that adds new content, bug fixes and more. You can see the complete patch notes for this update below.

What’s new?

Added two new dungeon themes each with one unique floor tile

-Hollywood or Bollywood?-

Filmset (Unique floor: A stage that will turn off all other lights and focus a spotlight on the player)

-The aliens are among us-

“So Many Me” (Unique floor: A toxic mist that will deal damage when walking through or standing in it)

Added the “Hall of Fame” to the village hub

  • You can play six dungeons created by our most dedicated Kickstarter supporters here
  • Replaced the fill bucket tool with a rectangle tool for tile mode
  • We added a button that let’s you instantly snap Fink towards the cursor when editing a dungeon.

What’s changed?

  • Traps will now trigger hit and barrier switches. Use your creativity now to build some automated contraptions.
  • Reworked the Undo-System to be more stable and not result in broken rooms/objects all the time.
  • Builder palette no longer automatically collapses after a certain time.
  • Added automatic camera movement, when dragging an object towards the screens edge when using a gamepad.
  • Improved Stair transition to make it less likely for players to accidentally walk back into stairs.
  • Added some little animations when placing objects or tiles.
  • Fixed an issue where users couldn’t play online dungeons.

Bug-Fixes

  • Sign in front of Fink’s secret cave displayed a placeholder text.
  • One of the birds had a placeholder text in it’s speech bubble.
  • Player Dungeons could not be correctly deleted.
  • Player Dungeons would show up multiple times.
  • Online Dungeons would sometimes load an empty dungeon.
  • Room outlines would sometimes break.
  • Massively improved the performance for dungeons with many rooms.
  • In some cases restarting the dungeon would instead load a completely empty dungeon.
  • Golden Egg is now visible on the map again.
  • Collecting the flipper item multiple times would add it to the UI multiple times.
  • Description text in the online dungeon report form could overflow the input field.
  • Speechbubbles would stay active when switching to build mode.
  • Game would crash when trying to show the tooltip of one of the floors in the mystic garden theme.
