Sonic Superstars' street date has been broken

SEGA will be releasing Sonic Superstars digitally and physically on October 17th, 2023…or that was the plan. While the digital versions have zero chance of releasing early, it appears a number of retailers have decided to skip the game’s street date, as fans have reported that they’ve snagged boxed copies early.

If you’re looking forward to Sonic Superstars and all it includes, the next few days just became a lot tougher. You’re going to have to dodge spoilers and footage everywhere you turn online, so make sure to mute certain phrases or hang back from X, TikTok, Facebook and so on in the next few days.

While we usually don’t share footage/screens/info from early-release copies of games, rest assured that if we do post some kind of coverage, we’ll make sure all of it is marked spoiler and placed after a jump. That said, we will share a look at the physical version’s inside cover and art below.
