We recently learned that Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town was getting a worldwide release, and now we have an idea of when to expect it. Over in Japan, the game will arrive on Feb. 22nd, 2024, so hopefully the NA/EU releases won’t be too long after.

In Japan, there will be two physical options up for grabs; a 6,980 yen standard edition and 9,980 yen Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition packs in a special pin badge, a picture book-style notebook with flipbook anime), 68-page special art book, soundtrack download code, theme song sound sheet, coal mine train papercraft, Akita and Coal Town tourism map, and a characters sticker sheet.

In Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town, Shin chan and the Nohara family visit the town of Akita. The game depicts Shin-chan’s life full of various experiences with Shiro as he travels between two worlds—the real world and a mysterious town. With familiar characters, unique characters that stir up the story, and detailed graphics and settings, Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town can be enjoyed by a wide range of players of all ages, from Shin-chan fans to gamers who want to experience an full-scale story.
