Super Mario Bros. Wonder hits 4.3 million sold in 2 weeks, fastest-selling Mario title ever

Nintendo has released some sales of information Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and it’s already off to an absolutely incredible start.
Nintendo has revealed that Super Mario Bros. Wonder achieved global cumulative sales of 4.3 million units within the first two weeks. This makes it the fastest-selling Super Mario related title. Nintendo does point out that this stat is limited to titles released for Wii and Nintendo DS onwards, when software sell-through data collection began.
Nintendo also stated that Super Mario related titles tend to sell consistently over a long period of time, and they anticipate the game will be an appealing choice for consumers during the upcoming holiday season and will continue to sell next year onwards as well.
