Pokémon GO historic routes event announced for Japan

Those in Japan have a new Pokémon GO event to look forward to, and it’s set to kick off November 25th, 2023.

Pokémon GO and Niantic have revealed that in the Asakusa area of Japan, eight new routes will appear. These routes will take trainers through historic areas in Japan, and each route will have special spawns. The spawn breakdown for each route is below:

• Past & Present Route - Pikachu
• Full Stomach Route - Snorlax
• Picture Route - Ralts & Gardevoir
• Fun Route - Eevee
• Amazing Route - Darumaka
• Waterside Route - Magikarp
• Narrow Path Route - Meowth
• Night View Route - Litwick

Along with this, special raids will happen in gyms in the area, and they’ll feature Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Tornadus and Thundurus. Finally, there will also be various decorations and artwork shown along the routes, plus stickers and other gifts will be given to players.
