When Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake was first announced, Koei Tecmo said they would be releasing it worldwide in early 2024. Unfortunately that is no longer the case, and the game is now coming sometime later in 2024. A generic ‘2024’ release date has been applied, and we’ll bring you confirmation on a specific date once one is shared.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake producers Kazuhiro Echigoya and Hisatsugu Ishikawa shared statements on the delay, which you can read below.
The release of Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake has been postponed from the previously announced “early 2024” to “2024.”
As the first major remake of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, in order to fully satisfy our fans, we have made the decision to further improve the quality of the game. The actual release date will be announced at a later time.
We appreciate your patience as we take a little more time before the game releases.
