There’s never a dull moment in the world of Pokémon. No matter where you live, there’s always something Pokémon-related going on, and we’re breaking down the latest news on events, merch and more for the dedicated Pokémon fans out there.

First up, the Pokémon Local Acts initiative is set to install 2 more “Poké Lid” manhole covers in Japan. These covers will be placed in the Ehime area, and they will feature a variety of Pokémon, including Sirfetch’d & Tsareena.

Next, Niantic have announced that the Shared AR Buddy Experience in Pokémon GO is coming to an end. This feature will cease to function after the Version 0.293.0 update, which is rolling out now. No reason for the feature’s removal was given.

Finally, The Pokémon Company has started PokéPark Kanto Limited, a new company that will operate a special business, PokéPark Kanto. This will be part of the YomiruiLand area of Tokyo, with the goal of creating a place where fans can experience Pokémon in a lush, natural environment. More details on this park will be shared in the near future.
