2023 has been one of the best years in gaming in quite some time. Every year always offers a ton of great games, but the stars aligned in 2023 to bring us all sorts of stellar titles. Nintendo really did have an incredible year this year. They earned that top publisher award.

If this was the last year before a new console, it may be the least coasting they've done for a console's final year.

I dunno. I don't expect the new console to arrive before holiday 2024 so we're still having one year ahead of us.


That's a good point. We could get a Switch 2 in December and nearly a year of leftovers and remakes until then. Hopefully Nintendo gives us at least a few things to be excited about.
