The Pokémon Company International announced that the next expansion in the best-selling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces, will launch at participating retailers around the world beginning March 22, 2024.
First introduced in the Black & White Series, ACE SPEC cards will return to the Pokémon TCG in Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces, as initially announced during the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. Featuring a new eye-catching magenta design, ACE SPEC cards can appear as Trainer or Special Energy cards. Furthermore, ACE SPEC cards obtain powerful effects, but each deck will be limited to only one ACE SPEC card. Additionally, the upcoming expansion will feature new Pokémon, including Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, as originally introduced in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games.
Trainers can look forward to finding Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections at Pokémon Center and participating retailers worldwide. Select products from the expansion are now available for preorder at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., including the Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box.
In addition, ahead of the release of the tabletop version, Trainers will be able to play with Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app on March 21, 2024.
