Capcom has revealed ahead of their upcoming Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Digital Event, that an update for Monster Hunter Rise will be released alongside the expansion that will cost you 13GB of storage. Even if you don’t plan on buying the Sunbreak expansion, you still need to update the main game if you want to play online. The update will include balance adjustments for various weapons, and you will have access to the Items Packs and Appearance Change tickets, even if you don’t own the expansion.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be released on June 30th, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch. The main game is already available and can be purchased on the Nintendo eShop.

Still less than your typical PS4/5 game update but it'll hurt so much more for Switch owners.
