Splatoon 3 "Mincemeat Metalworks" maintenance announced

Nintendo has put out an announcement about some maintenance taking place in the near future for Splatoon 3. In particular, this maintenance will impact Mincemeat Metalworks.
Those who frequent Splatoon 3 will want to make note that starting January 22nd, 2024, Mincemeat Metalworks will be closed. Nintendo says this closure is coming due to “inventory and on-site inspection,” keeping things kayfabe, to steal a term from wrestling.
While we don’t know exactly what Nintendo is cooking up for Mincemeat Metalworks, we’ve learned that it’ll be open for business once again come January 24th, 2024 at 7 PM ET. Should patch notes be shared on this update and what it includes, we’ll make sure to share them with you.
