Nintendo Switch Sports takes #1 in Japan's weekly software sales

We’re not getting the usual Japanese software sales reports this week due to Japan celebrating Golden Week, but some sales data is trickling in, and we have first word on how well Nintendo Switch Sports has done.
During its launch week, Nintendo Switch Sports sold roughly 190k at retail, making it the #1 game of the week. To put things in comparison, Wii Sports Resort sold 345k in its first week in Japan, but obviously, there were no digital numbers involved with that total.
According to David Gibson, Senior Analyst at MST Financial, Nintendo Switch Sports came close to Wii Sports Resort’s first-week total, so that would obviously have to mean that digital took up a consider chunk of purchases.
